Servicing for your ball machine
Why its important to get your machine serviced.
All ball machines need servicing every 2 years or sooner if used daily at a tennis club.
The surface you use it on will also determin its servicing needs. Playing on clay, shale and sand filled courts will increase the servicing needs as the sand/grit get into the motors and wear them down, the oil and grease will also break up and need replacing. The throwing wheels will also wear out faster with more abrasive surfaces.
Batteries tend to last 2/3 years if properly charged. We recommend using a smart charger as this prolongs the life of your batteries and can be left plugged in over the winter period.
Storage of your ball machine is also very important as small rodents like to live inside them and often chew through the wires.
Ball machines are electronic devices so they do not like wet and damp conditions. They are made in California or Australia, dry countries so in the UK unless they are kept dry they can fail.
Regular servcing will increase the life of your ball machine and will avoid expensive furture costs in getting your machine back up and running.
